Building leaders at all levels.
Leadership development is at the heart of my work. I partner with organizations, from large corporations to fellowship programs to community parent groups, to bring out the potential of all individuals as both learners and leaders.
Bringing Content to Life.
I believe that active learning is the key to bringing content to life. I bring more than a decade of experience designing programs and trainings for organizations all over the country, and I’m dedicated to creating flexible, energetic spaces for adult learners to engage, ask questions, and grow. I break down core skills into practice areas, allowing learners to spend time reflecting, practicing new skills, and applying them in their real context.
My Work in Practice
I designed leadership development content for 50CAN’s Education Advocacy Fellowship, the YouCAN program (a part-time program for emerging education advocates and community leaders to ensure that parent, teacher, and community voices are heard), and Charleston RISE (SouthCarolinaCAN’s parent advocacy program).
In partnership with Symphonic Strategies, I conducted a viability study of microlending to African American women living in poverty to amplify the voices of those affected and offer program recommendations for moving forward.
I work with Harvard Business Publishing as a teacher for their leadership programs, in addition to serving as lead moderator for their custom client programming for American Express.
I served as curriculum designer for Stand for Children’s Stand University for Parents (UP) program, a research-based 8-week family engagement course for parents of elementary school children.
I served as master trainer and curriculum designer for a 700,000-employee training project for the Department of Defense’s performance management system.
